A lifetime involved with breeding horses and working dogs (mainly border collies) and an intense interest in the Australian Shepherd led to Myriahill being established in 1996 with the purchase of my first aussies from Beckabrook and Sasin Kennels.
Myriahill is located in rural northern NSW Australia and the dogs have the joy of being able to run and develop in a relatively free lifestyle.
Myriahill strives to maintain genetic soundness, temperament and breed type. All breeding stock are hipscored and eye tested annually and every pup is eye tested by a specialist canine opthamologist.
To date there has been no CEA or PRA produced and excellent hipscores all in the low single figure range.
Myriahill does not breed for show ring fads, but rather endeavours to breed an all round dog suitable for any career - companion, work, show or trial.
The aim is to produce sound, athletic stock in accordance with the Australian Shepherd breed standard.
